Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will deliver his annual report to the Georgian Parliament on June 30. The Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili announced this during today’s Bureau meeting.
Papuashvili stated, “The date has been agreed upon, and everything will proceed as planned. On June 30th, the Prime Minister will present his annual report to Parliament, and a written report will also be provided on time. This arrangement has been confirmed with the PM.”
The Speaker’s statement was in response to Tina Bokuchava, a member of the United National Movement, who inquired about the timing of Irakli Garibashvili’s report to parliament.
Bokuchava remarked, “Under the regulations, the Prime Minister must submit an annual report by June 1st. Particularly in light of the fact that the PM makes anti-Western, anti-constitutional, and anti-state statements almost daily, it is appropriate for you to demand that the Prime Minister appear before Parliament and address the most pressing questions.”
