Speaker Papuashvili meets NATO Deputy Secretary General

Chair of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili met with NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joana.

According to the parliament’s press service, the parties discussed NATO-Georgia relations, current developments in the region and plans for the future.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General expressed his unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity.

The Speaker of Parliament thanked Mircea Joana for his support and stated that Georgia will continue progressing towards the North Atlantic integration.

The parliamentary delegation, headed by Shalva Papuashvili, comprises Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikoloz Samkharadze, Committee on Defence and Security Committee Chair Irakli Beraia, and MP Ketevan Turazashvili.
