NEA warns of strong winds in Tbilisi, intermittent rains across Georgia on September 7
Intermittent precipitation is expected in all regions of western Georgia and heavy rains in eastern Georgia on September 7, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said in its weather forecast.
According to the NEA, thunderstorms and hailstorms are possible, with a magnitude 4-5 storm at the Black Sea.
Strong winds are expected throughout Georgia, including Tbilisi.
“Possible precipitation may cause swelling of small rivers and activation and formation of landsliding processes, especially in the mountainous regions,” the NEA said.
