Speaker: Bilateral talks in Geneva to focus on non-recognition policy, international relations, global challenges

Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, announced that during his visit to Geneva, he will take part in a panel discussion and general debates, where he is also scheduled to deliver an address.

According to Papuashvili, he will also hold bilateral meetings with European and other counterparts.

“The conference in Geneva continues today. I will have the opportunity to speak both during the panel discussion and at the general debate, addressing my fellow parliamentarians. Additionally, I will hold bilateral meetings with European and other colleagues to discuss support for the non-recognition policy. We will also touch on inter-state relations and the international challenges facing both our region and Georgia,” Papuashvili stated.

He emphasized the scale of the event, noting that more than 100 Parliament Speakers are participating. “This is a valuable opportunity for bilateral dialogue, as it brings together parliamentary leaders from around the world to exchange views on key issues,” he added.
