Sozar Subari calls Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli’s statements not serious
Sozar Subari, Minister of IDPs, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, calls the recent statements made by Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli as not serious.
According to Subari, the version of human kidnapping from Tbilisi center is absurd, because if there had been any such fact, it would have had many eyewitnesses.
As for the issue of how Afgan Mukhtarli appeared at the Azerbaijani border, Sozar Subari said there are many questions, which will be answered by the investigation.
“When a person is in jail, I can understand that he may have a lot of trouble, but no one should tell lies, especially a journalist,” Subari said.
According to Azerbaijani journalist Afgan Mukhtarli, his kidnapping could not be planned without the involvement of Georgian high officials and former prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
