The leader of a religious sect in South Korea, Lee Man-hee, accused of spreading coronavirus, has apologized to the government and people.

The government of South Korea has asked prosecutors to charge Lee Man-hee, the founder of the Shincheonji Church over coronavirus deaths.

South Korea has reported 3,730 cases and 21 deaths as yet. As local media reports, more than half of all infections involve members of the Shincheonji Church.
