Silknet and Geocell Companies unite

Silknet and Geocell Companies officially united. Silknet became 100% owner of Geocell’s shares. The value of the deal amounts USD 153 million.

TBC Bank managed to attract USD 133 million with syndicate consisting of 9 banks. Silknet plans to invest about 500 million GEL for improvement of services and introduction of new technologies. It is not yet known whether brand Geocell will be maintained.
