Shalva Papuashvili: Minority government in Britain, which the majority of its own people, 83%, do not trust, lectures us today
“Today, we are speaking to a British government that is a minority government, with 83% of its own population lacking confidence in it,” stated the Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.
When asked about an article in The Spectator, which claims that “Keir Starmer is governing Britain against its core interests and is the first Prime Minister in history to consider the Atlantic Union as discretionary rather than structural,” the Speaker responded:
“The British Prime Minister is damaging relations with his own people. Currently, he has only a 17% approval rating among the British population. Today, we are communicating with a minority government, one that the vast majority, 83%, does not trust. This government, with such low confidence, apparently believes it can discuss and draw conclusions from a three-hour PosTV broadcast. Yet they are unable to grasp the sentiments of their own people; the British Prime Minister’s approval rating stands at only 17%. This ongoing trajectory leads us into a civilisational abyss, a path chosen by Europe in its various forms, the European Union, Great Britain, and others, which the United States has long warned about. It would be better if they listened to us,” concluded Shalva Papuashvili.
