Seven opposition parties praise U.S. for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic future's protection
“Such support of the U.S. is the merit of Georgian citizens’ non-stop, principal and peaceful protests, which oligarch Ivanishvili’s government responded with violence. Georgia belongs to each of us and not the Russian oligarch,” reads the statement of seven opposition parties.
Based on the statement, Georgian opposition parties praise and value the U.S.’s unwavering and tangible efforts for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic future protection.
“We, pro-Western democratic opposition parties, praise the United States’ unwavering and tangible efforts in the protection of Georgia’s Constitution, sovereignty, freedom and European and Euro-Atlantic future.
Such support of the U.S. is the merit of Georgian citizens’ non-stop, principal and peaceful protests, which oligarch Ivanishvili’s government responded with violence.
We want to appeal to those people who remain in service of the Russian regime. In case you decide to distance from the Russian regime, and join the Georgian people in the struggle for Georgia’s integration into the EU and NATO, you still have a chance to protect yourselves and your family members from international sanctions. Move to the side of truth. In this case, we are ready to act within our capabilities to contribute to the evasion of grave consequences of sanctions for you and your families.
Georgia belongs to each of us and not the Russian oligarch. Yes to Europe! No to the Russian Regime,” reads the statement signed by Ahali, Strategy Aghmashenebeli, Droa, Girchi-More Freedom, Republicans, Lelo and United National Movement (UNM) parties.
