“The opposition went from door to door, urging for doing someting, imposition of sanctions on this country. Therefore, a meeting with ambassadors is not a surprise,” said Irakli Kadagishvili, Self-Governance Committee Chair.

According to Kadagishvili, ambassadors are engaged in managing the political process in Georgia.

“It is obvious that the ambassadors are engaged in managing the political process in Georgia. But each time, this attempt ended by harming democracy and has had devastating consequences for the opposition. That is why they continue this practice. They have no other vision or instruction. They cannot live with the fact that they lost the elections and failed to stage a coup; consequently, they continue these destructive actions. The opposition has no support within the country.

The opposition went from door to door, urging for doing someting, imposition of sanctions on this country to somehow force people to come out against the government. Therefore, a meeting with ambassadors is not a surprise,” he said.
