Secondary university admissions: 1,242 applicants secure places in higher and vocational institutions

The National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC) has published the results for the secondary clearing round of admissions to higher education and vocational institutions.

According to the Centre, 1,715 applicants out of 4,010 eligible candidates registered for the secondary enrollment stage. A total of 1,242 applicants successfully secured places in higher and vocational programs, representing a 73% admission rate among registered participants.

Undergraduate bachelor’s degree programs accepted 818 applicants. Of these, 312 students enrolled in state-founded higher education institutions, while 506 were admitted to private universities.

A further 408 applicants earned places in vocational training programs, with 244 entering state vocational colleges and 164 enrolling in private institutions.

Additionally, 16 examinees qualified for the Georgian Language Preparation Programme, all of whom gained admission to state-run higher education institutions.
