Scattered rain, hail, and landslide risks are expected across most of Georgia on May 21–22
The National Environmental Agency (NEA) has issued a warning to the public regarding the weather conditions anticipated in Georgia over the coming days.
Meteorologists forecast scattered rainfall across most of the country on May 21–22, with the eastern regions experiencing particularly heavy showers, thunderstorms, and hail in some areas.
“The expected precipitation may lead to significant rises in water levels in Georgian rivers, flash floods on smaller rivers, and the activation of landslide processes in hilly and mountainous regions, which pose a medium-level danger,” the National Environmental Agency stated.
