I voted for the changes in Zugdidi, where corruption, pressure and nepotism should be replaced by the care for people, – said Sandra Roelofs, candidate of the united opposition in the Zugdidi mayoral elections.

According to her, she voted for a clear, European future.

“I voted for the changes in Zugdidi, where corruption, pressure and nepotism should be replaced by the care for people, where development and employment should be ensured in a safe and free environment.

The whole country looks at us today and is waiting for changes. I feel this responsibility and each citizen of Zugdidi must feel this responsibility. I voted for a clear, European future.

I’m sure in support, we will see it in the evening. I hope that elections will be held peacefully today. The whole country expects the outcome of the Zugdidi elections, and these elections have a whole countrywide importance,” – Sandra Roelofs said.

Today, Extraordinary Mayoral Elections are being held in Marneuli, Zestaponi, Chiatura, Zugdidi and Khulo municipalities. In parallel, Sakrebulo By-elections are being conducted at local majoritarian election districts of Sagarejo, Akhmeta, Adigeni, Zestaponi, Chiatura, Tkibuli, Tskaltubi and Ozurgeti municipalities. In addition, citizens are electing majoritarian MP at Mtatsminda constituency in Tbilisi.
