Samtskhe-Javakheti Gov: Fire on territory of Borjomi-Kharagauli Forest Park is far from settlement

“Firefighters are working to put out the fire on the territory of Borjomi-Kharagauli Forest Park,” said the Governor of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Beso Amiranashvili.

“The forest-shrub is burning. The fire is far from the settlement and the population is not in danger,” noted Amiranashvili.

“The involvement of the helicopter is not necessary at this stage,” added the Governor.

A fire broke out near the village of Atskuri, on the slope of the Amarati mountain, on the territory of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, in Akhaltsikhe Municipality earlier today.
