Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili congratulates the National Guard personnel and veteran guardsmen on the day of the establishment of National Guard of Georgia.

“National Guard celebrates its 28th anniversary today. I congratulate National Guard personnel and veteran guardsmen on this day” – Salome Zurabishvili states.

According to the President of Georgia, National Guard is a solid foundation on which Georgian armed forces stand.

“The National Guard keeps the latest history of our country. Our soldiers fought hard for the territorial integrity of our country.

I pay tribute to their memory, who sacrificed their lives for the unity of our country. I express my gratitude to those who fought worthily on the battlefield”, – President said.
