The river swept away a two-storey house in Chuberi village, disaster zone in Svaneti region.
Joni Tsindeliani, eyewitness of the incident told First Channel that the family had been transferred to a safer place in advance.
It stopped raining in Chuberi. However, rain is in forecast for the second half of the day. Rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Service are working in the disaster zone.
Locals are evacuated and their health condition is satisfactory. Heavy vehicles are deployed and about 150 rescuers are present in Chuberi.
Abundant precipitation caused collapse of one part of the mountain that led to flooding of Nenskra River. Chuberi and several villages are cut off the regional center.
