Rep Joe Wilson: War criminal Putin uses Chinese Communist Party-controlled Port of Anaklia to ship weapons to Iran

U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson, co-chair of the Helsinki Commission, claims that Vladimir Putin is using the Chinese Communist Party-controlled port of Anaklia in Georgia to ship weapons to Iran. Wilson made the statement at a hearing on Iran’s support for Russia at the Helsinki Commission.

He also said that Iran has allowed Russia to evade sanctions.

“The Iranian regime has also enabled Russia to evade sanctions and continue funding its murderous war machine. War criminal Putin has used the Communist Party of China’s controlled Port of Anaklia, the port of the Republic of Georgia, to provide arms to Iran, collaborating with the illegitimate Georgian Dream regime, which should be replaced with fair and free elections in the Republic of Georgia,” Joe Wilson has stated.

According to Rep Wilson, Georgian Dream is collaborating with Vladimir Putin.

“Iran and Russia are particularly active. In the Republic of Georgia, backing the anti-American Georgian Dream regime. This is an illegitimate regime in Tbilisi. The collaboration of Georgian Dream with war criminal Putin is so clear. Additionally, with the regime in Tehran, the Chinese Communist Party controls the Black Sea Port of Georgia, Anaklia, to control the rare earth trade. This has much broader implications,” Wilson said.
