Quarantine, isolation rules' violation to be fined GEL 2,000 for a natural person and GEL 10,000 for a juristic person
A natural person will be fined GEL 2,000 and a juristic person – GEL 10,000 for violating the rules of isolation or quarantine.
The Parliament of Georgia has adopted the legislative amendments on fines and criminal liabilities regarding the violation of quarantine and self-isolation rules.
On top of that, according to the amendments, the violation of the regulations of the state of emergency or state of martial law, as well as violation of the rules of isolation or quarantine, if those rules are part of the state of emergency or state of martial law, will result in a fine of 3,000 GEL for a natural person and 15,000 GEL for a juristic person.
