Public Service Bureau to be dissolved by April 1

The Public Service Bureau, operating as a legal entity under public law, will undergo complete liquidation by April 1, 2025, following initiatives presented during today’s Bureau session.

The draft legislation stipulates that all functions and authority currently vested in the Bureau will transition to the Government Administration. Once the law takes effect, the Government has been given a ten-day window to establish a dedicated liquidation commission to oversee this process.

The draft includes provisions for severance benefits – Bureau employees who face dismissal during this transition will receive compensation equivalent to one month’s salary.
