Public Defender calls on police to ‘immediately investigate’ attack on TV Pirveli film crew

The Public Defender calls on law enforcement agencies to “immediately investigate” the attack on the TV Pirveli film crew and “bring the relevant individuals to justice.”

The Public Defender urges the police forces mobilized near Rustaveli Avenue to “immediately respond and ensure the safety of citizens.”

“According to the information disseminated in the media and social networks, over the past hour, individuals dressed in black have been attacking and physically abusing citizens and TV Pirveli journalists near Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi,” reads the Public Defender’s statement.
