Protesters, police clash at Georgian Parliament

Confrontation occurred between protesters and law enforcement officials at the Georgian Parliament.

Police removed several individuals from the scene, though it is unknown whether they were detained.

Prior to it, law enforcement personnel ordered the demonstrators to clear the road, which sparked the incident.

The solidarity rally on Rustaveli Avenue began at approximately 12:00. Protesters are demonstrating against the detention of two individuals at yesterday’s rally. According to them, the detained persons were wishing Easter greetings to law enforcement officers, which, according to them, became the reason for their detention.
