Protest rallies at Rustaveli Avenue over

Two parallel protest rallies of July 8 at Rustaveli Avenue are over. The territory is being cleaned. The road is opened for the traffic.

Two protests were held last evening outside the parliament building. Protesters of the anti-occupational rally were demanding the resignation of Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia.

At the same time, Businessman Levan Vasadze and his supporters protested against Tbilisi Pride march organized by the LGBT community.

The police were separating the rallies. Several incidents took place during the night. The anti-occupational rally will resume starting 19:00 today for the 20th day.
