Protest of Animals’ rights defenders at Rustaveli Subway Station

“Enforce the law, punish those who committed violence”– with this slogan animals rights defenders held a protest at Rustaveli Subway Station.

Participants of the activity said that not a single person had been punished within the activation of the law that envisages punishment of those who committed violence against animals.

“A person who can kill a living creature with torture is a killer. The law, which should protect animals has existed for already several months but has not been active for the time being. I want to remind the public and the government that law is common for everyone and should be enforced,” Magda Tsulaia, one of the organizers of the protest and founder of Georgian Foundation for Integration Development, said.
