The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia (POG) has released a statement concerning the Mtavari Arkhi (Main Channel).
According to the POG, the Prosecutor’s Office requested financial documentation from Mtavari Arkhi TV company based on a court order.
“This action is part of an investigation launched following a complaint filed by the company’s director, Giorgi Kurdadze.
The Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into allegations of abuse of managerial authority, embezzlement and misappropriation of funds belonging to a legal entity, and money laundering.”
The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia will inform the public about the progress and results of the investigation,” reads the statement.
