Georgian PM departs on official visit to Kazakhstan
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has departed for the Republic of Kazakhstan on an official visit.
According to the Prime Minister’s press office, an official welcoming ceremony for the Georgian PM will be held at the Palace of Independence in Kazakhstan.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will host Irakli Kobakhidze. The Georgian Prime Minister and the Kazakh President are scheduled to hold talks in both one-on-one and expanded formats. Following these discussions, memoranda of cooperation will be signed across various fields between the respective agencies of the two nations.
As part of the official visit, the Georgian Head of Government will also meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Oljas Bektenov. Members of both countries’ cabinets will participate in this meeting.
“The Prime Minister of Georgia has travelled to Kazakhstan with a delegation including the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili; Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili; Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songhulashvili; and the Head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani,” the Prime Minister’s press office stated.
