The working visit of Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili to the United States has started.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili is holding a meeting with the US State Secretary Mike Pompeo for the time being.
The main topics of discussion are the issues of the US-Georgia Strategic Partnership Agenda and the positive dynamics of development of bilateral ties, as well as Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration process and challenges related to the country’s territorial integrity.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated Mike Pompeo on appointment as US Secretary of State and wished successful work.
After the meeting the Head of Georgian Government, together with US State Secretary, will open the Plenary Session of the Georgia-US Strategic Partnership Commission.
