President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili commented about the recent developments in Belarus.

President said in her statement that Georgia respects European values and is committed to the democratic principles that are the basis of development, progress and return to European family of the two friend countries.

“We hope that the ongoing process will be completed so that it does not damage or impede democratic and European future of Belarus. We reject violence. We believe that Belarus and its people will decide their own future democratically,” President Zurabishvili said.
