President meets with representatives of Public Libraries in villages

Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili met with representatives of Public Libraries functioning in the villages. Projects in restoration and modernization of libraries financed by Presidential Reserve Fund were summed up during the meeting.

The projects have been carried out since 2014 with involvement of National Library. There are more than 600 registered village libraries. The 118 librarians were trained within the framework of the project. The libraries were provided with internet and modern equipment.
