PM Kobakhidze: Eka Gigauri is a foreign agent; she cannot lecture anyone on democracy

“Eka Gigauri is another foreign agent. I don’t know about Russian methods, but staying in the same post for 15 years is a truly Soviet method. You know who I’m talking about,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in the United States.

According to the Prime Minister, Georgia is governed strictly by democratic principles.

“Eka Gigauri is another foreign agent. I don’t know about Russian methods, but staying in the same post for 15 years is a truly Soviet method. You know who I’m talking about. She herself is entrenched in her position through Soviet-style methods and is in no position to lecture anyone on what is right or democratic. Our country is governed strictly through democratic methods, and that is precisely how we intend to keep governing it,” stated the Head of Government.
