PM Irakli Kobakhidze: For Georgian society, Leuville symbolises how a dream of freedom and independence can be cherished across decades

“We must use the Leuville Estate to introduce Georgian culture, identity, and history to the wider public, including our foreign friends,” Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated during an appearance on the television programme Imedis Kvira.

As Kobakhidze noted, Leuville holds special significance for every Georgian.

“I remember back in the late 1980s, when the dissident movement began, the wider public learned about Leuville. Ever since, Leuville has served as a symbol of resilience, showing how Georgians can keep the dream of freedom and independence alive over generations.

The Leuville Estate will serve a versatile, multifaceted purpose for Georgians, for our society, for our diaspora, and beyond. We must utilise the Leuville Estate to introduce Georgian culture, identity, and history to the wider public, including our foreign friends,” declared Irakli Kobakhidze.
