PM Gharibashvili meets with EU Commission Vice-President

Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, met with the Executive Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Trade, Valdis Dombrovskis, during his visit to Brussels.

The meeting focused on the progress made in the Georgia-EU Association Agreement’s implementation, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA).

Irakli Gharibashvili noted that Georgia would further intensify its efforts to achieve the ambitious goal of gradual and full access to the European single market.

Sides discussed COVID-pandemic challenges, including the economic one.

Meeting emphasized the favourable business environment and investment opportunities in Georgia.

Irakli Gharibashvili noted that the Georgian government welcomes European investors and is ready to assist them in doing business in Georgia.
