Pension Fund of Georgia named winner at Investment Excellence Awards 2026

The Pension Fund of Georgia has secured major international recognition, winning the ‘Excellence in Pension Fund Investment Performance 2026 – Europe’ title at the Investment Excellence Awards 2026 hosted by British financial publication Wealth & Finance International, the fund’s press service announced on Monday.

Wealth & Finance International evaluates financial, investment, and asset management institutions globally. Through its annual Investment Excellence Awards, the publication honours companies and public bodies demonstrating outstanding investment returns, robust risk management, and innovative market approaches.

Wealth & Finance International highlighted the Georgian fund’s strong investment performance, disciplined portfolio management, robust governance framework, and significant contribution to the development of Georgia’s domestic capital market.

Against OECD member state data for 2025, our dynamic portfolio achieved an impressive real return of 10.8 per cent, ranking fourth globally.'”
