Patrol Police Chief resigns

Temur Kupatadze, Head of the Patrol Police, has resigned. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Kupatadze has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Border Guard Department.

As for who will be the future Head of the Patrol Police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will announce it “soon.”

Kupatadze was appointed as Head of Patrol Police in August of 2017.
