Jailed ex-president views attracting youngsters to UNM as key achievement

“One of the key achievements, if not the major one, of the United National Movement (UNM) lately is attracting youngsters. These are truly fighting people, with a new mindset and a completely different sense of purpose,” wrote jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili in his Facebook post.

According to Saakahvili, such youngsters are Levan Sanikidze, Irakli Palavandishvili, Lasha Parulava and Igor Narmania.

“They are not burdened by the past weight of holding power, and they joined the fight for a pure idea. These youngsters are Levan Sanikidze, Irakli Palavandishvili, Lasha Parulava and Igor Narmania. We also have excellent youngsters in the regions. It is impossible for the force and idea supported by such people not to triumph,” he wrote.
