Out of new COVID-19 cases registered in Georgia, 1 is linked to Lenjeri (Mestia Municipality), 6 are contacts with the already confirmed cases and 4 are imported – Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases said.

According to Ezugbaia, the rate of recoveries stands at 82%. Forty patients recovered from the virus during the last 24 hours. The number of recovered patients reached 1190.

Georgia reported 11 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 447, according to National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.
