An employee of the cleaning service of TSU tests positive for COVID-19

One of the employees of the cleaning service of Tbilisi State University’s 10th (Maglivi) building has tested positive for coronavirus, TSU reported.

As stated in the Press Release, the contacts of an infected person have been identified and detailed information has been given to the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of Georgia (NCDC).

According to Tbilisi State University (TSU), the number of patient’s contacts are few. All of them have been undergoing PCR testing. They have been self-isolating as well.

TSU added that disinfection works were carried out in the tenth building once again.

Since the virus outbreak in Georgia, Tbilisi State University (TSU) shut down in-person classes and switched to online.
