One new case of coronavirus detected in Kvemo Bolnisi

One new case of coronavirus detected in Kvemo Bolnisi. The man who contracted the virus underwent rapid coronavirus diagnostic testing. Georgian First Channel has learnt from the Press Service of the Bolnisi Municipality.

As the Press Service noted, the patient’s close contacts have been identified, however, the source of the infection is unknown.

The place where the virus detected will be examined today. The samples of the village residents will be taken for molecular research.

In total, 163 cases of coronavirus reported in Bolnisi Municipality so far. Three patients died from the novel virus. 76 patients recovered. The village was placed under lockdown.
