Office of State Minister – Not a single youngster will be left without high education

The Office of State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality says that 24-hour working regime is activated to give the possibility of free movement to the locals residing across the occupied territory after the closure of the Enguri Bridge at the so-called border with Abkhazia region.

According to the Office of State Minister, through various channels and direct contacts, all persons and pensioners who needed medical assistance, as well as university entrants taking United National Examinations, are brought to the territory controlled by the Georgian side. “There were cases when the youngsters had to pass difficult routes to overcome the Russian barriers,” reads the information.

The Office of State Minister says that education programs are functioning in Zugdidi and Tbilisi with the provision of free-living and 150-GEL scholarship and that not a single youngster will be left without high education within the framework of the state peace initiative “A Step for a Better Future.”

The Abkhazian de-facto authorities closed the movement across Enguri Bridge on June 27. The State Security Service says that closure of the bridge is an illegal limitation of free movement to locals.
