Akhalgori district governor Nugzar Tinikashvili says the crossing point which opened ten days ago, will likely be closed tomorrow.
Tinikashvili noted that only a small number of people managed to cross the border.
“A total of 1200 people can not travel to Tbilisi-administered territory. Individuals without South Ossetian passport are not able to get their pension.
A lot of people need medical treatment. The decision about opening the “border” was good, however, 10 days are not enough,” Tinikashvili stressed.
