Nino Lomjaria presenting her viewpoints in parliament

Nino Lomjaria, candidate for post of Public Defender of Georgia is presenting her viewpoints and priorities in the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee.

Lomjaria underlined that based on acting legislation and Constitution, Ombudsman has strong guarantees of independence.

Lomjaria is a candidate of non-governmental organizations on the position. She previously served as Deputy Head of State Audit Service and Executive Director of non-governmental organization International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED).
