Nikoloz Basilashvili to face Rafael Nadal in 1/8 finals of US Open 2018

Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili will face Rafael Nadal in the 1/8 final of the 2018 tennis US Open. The 1/8 final starts today at 8:00 p.m.

World number one Nadal, who is also the champion of the tournament, has played against Russian Karen Khachanov and defeated him in four and a half hours – 5: 7, 7: 6 (7), 7: 6 (3).

Nadal and Basilashvili have met just once previously. The match took place last year at the French Open. Nadal won a match – 0:6, 1:6, 0:6.
