NBG President: Tbilisi Finance Summit participant investment companies view Georgia as attractive hub
President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) Natia Turnava met governors and vice presidents of leading investment and finance companies within the framework of the Tbilisi Finance Summit.
Accel, Ant International, Hivenet, BR Capital, Bybit, RedotPay, Eisele Capital, Coinbase, Finandir and other companies participated in the meeting.
Natia Turnava familiarized the participants with Georgia’s investment potential, microeconomic climate, financial market and Fintech ecosystem’s development possibilities.
According to Natia Turnava, the Tbilisi Finance Summit brought together leading investors from the region and various countries around the world, who have multi-billion-dollar portfolios.
“One part of participant investors intend to cooperate with our banking system. We speak about small banks and their strengthening is beneficial for our financial market in terms of competition.
Another part wishes to establish a new financial organization in Georgia. This can be a new bank, tax service, or virtual assets provider. I am glad that Georgia is attractive as a hub for them. Our goal and desire is that large global companies establish their businesses in Georgia and serve both local and regional customers,” she said.
