National Movement and non-judge members of the High Council left working group set up for selection of judicial candidates

The National Movement and non-judge members of the High Council of Justice Nazi Janezashvili and Ana Dolidze left the working group set up for selection of judicial candidates of the Supreme Court in protest.

As Tina Bokuchava, one of the UNM member states, the issue of the change of the Working Group format was raised and until the format does not change, UNM party members consider it senseless to participate in this process.

Non-judge members of the High Council of Justice Nazi Janezashvili and Ana Dolidze share the same position. “I insist a fair format, which does not cause questions, otherwise, my presence in this group is sensless,” – Nazi Janezashvili said.

“European Georgia” has raised the issue of the change of the format of the Working Group set up for the selection of judicial candidates of the Supreme Court.

The working group meeting headed by the Speaker of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze is being held in Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel.
