National Food Agency ensures safe handling of cattle carcasses in disaster-stricken zone
The National Food Agency has confirmed that the carcasses of cattle that perished in the disaster-stricken zone are being systematically handled. Under veterinary supervision, the carcasses are being relocated to designated pits and subjected to thorough disinfection procedures. To further prevent any potential health risks, samples from these carcasses will be sent to a laboratory for detailed analysis.
A spokesperson from the National Food Agency assured that the likelihood of infectious diseases spreading in the region is not expected.
The Agency’s representative explained that, while there were reports of several cattle being found in the landslide-affected area, local authorities have been swift in removing the carcasses and ensuring their appropriate handling. The utmost care is being taken to avoid any potential health hazards.
