Municipal transport to resume from September 13

Municipal transport will resume operation from September 13, the Interagency Coordination Council decided.

The movement of public transport was suspended from August 14 due to the worsened epidemiological situation in the country.

Head of the Task Force under the Interagency Coordination Council Giorgi Ghibradze also said that participants of sports activities should be either fully vaccinated or represent a negative PCR test result conducted within the last 24 hours.

A promotional lottery will also kick off from September 13 for vaccinated citizens. The Lottery Company will set GEL 100-500 prizes every day. The weekly prizes will make up GEL 1,000, 1,500, 10,000.

The prize fund allocated from the state budget amounts to GEL 2,800,000. The winners will be selected randomly. Any vaccinated person (including single-dose) is eligible to participate.
