Migration Department deport 84 foreign nationals from Georgia

Officers from the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), working in coordination with relevant law enforcement divisions, have deported 84 foreign nationals from Georgia in recent days.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a series of complex enforcement operations led to the removal of citizens from multiple countries, including India, Egypt, Turkey, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Ghana, Jordan, Pakistan, Nigeria, the Philippines, and China, alongside nationals from several other states.

All deported individuals have received re-entry bans prohibiting their return under existing legislation.

To date this year, the Migration Department has deported more than 3,000 foreign citizens.
