Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Gharibashvili hosted Hungarian Ambassador to Georgia Victoria Horvath.
The meeting held at the Defense Ministry of Georgia addressed the future defense cooperation plans between Georgia and Hungary.
Irakli Gharibashvili thanked Hungary for its unwavering support to Georgia’s sovereignty and aspiration to become integrated into Euro-Atlantic structures.
Defense Minister underlined Hungary’s contribution to the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia and logistic support in carrying out the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP).
The sides discussed regional security and cooperation perspective with the Budapest-based NATO Military Medical Center of Excellence.
