London Qvevri Wine Festival to take place today

The Festival of Qvevri Wine will take place in London on October 19. The collection of different wines kept in Qvevris (large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of wine) will be at display.

The Georgian Wine Importers Group is the organizer of the activity. The guests will have the opportunity to taste about 20 kinds of wines that are imported and available on the UK market.

Visitors will also have the chance to try Georgian dishes, enjoy national dances and receive information about the ancient traditions of Georgian viticulture and hospitality.
