Lelo faction to hold meetings in the United States

Badri Japaridze, Chairman of the parliamentary faction Lelo – Partnership for Georgia, will leave for Washington. The faction members Salome Samadashvili and Grigol Gegelia left for the US two days ago.

The delegation members will hold meetings in the US Congress, Senate, Department of State and leaders of the leading political institutions: Jamestown Foundation, US-German Marshall Fund.

The Lelo representatives will speak about enforcement of the April 19 EU-brokered agreement, challenges to Georgian democracy, the geopolitical situation in the region, significance to speed up Georgia’s EU and NATO integration and the Lelo party’s parliamentary priorities.
