Lelo: Country needs early elections

“The country needs early elections. Now the question is how to get to the early elections”, Mamuka Khazaradze, Leader of the Lelo for Georgia Party, said before the meeting with Christian Danielsson, a special envoy of the President of the European Council.

“A plebiscite is a way to reach these elections. We should all compromise,” Khazaradze said.

The special envoy of the President of the European Council arrived in Georgia with a 3-day visit. The purpose of Christian Danielsson’s visit is to mediate political dialogue between the ruling Georgian Dream party and the opposition initiated by EUCO President Charles Michel on March 1.
